This post shows just how much I don’t know.
I thought Sullivan was a Bush supporter. And I didn’t know he wasn’t a citizen.
I should read some of those links you posted. I feel so dumb.

You’re typical of most of America (including me). I don’t know, I’m stupid, and I believe everything I read in the newspaper/drudgereport.com AND I get vote next Tuesday! Holy shit. ~100 million people voting next Tuesday and most of them basing their votes off of TV ads, and catch phrases “Flip-Flop, wrong war…”
I still am in awe that intelligent people run this country. That will change once elections become a FOX reality show.

There’s just so much information out there now. It’s too much for a person with a full-time job and a social life to digest, I find. Making an informed decision is harder than ever.

I could be wrong, but I would think that Sullivan is a U.S. citizen by now – he’s lived in this country for 20+ years, and I seem to remember him writing once that he now considers himself more American than British, or words to that effect.

Obviously, Jeff, you missed the Showtime reality series “American Candidate”. Truly disgusting…
Also, do the intelligent Kerry supporters here believe that Kerry will be as aggressive as Bush in eliminating terrorist threats before they attack us? I am voting for Bush and that is really the reason why. I’m not being sarcastic calling the Kerry supporters intelligent, I truly believe you are. I am asking sincerely if I should trust that Kerry will choose to take the same approach as Bush, an approach that I think is absolutely correct. We could not let Saddam control the most powerful country in the middle east. I don’t even know if Kerry supported that action. He has said he feels we should have fought that war, but should have had a better post-war plan. I agree with that. He has also said “wrong war, wrong place, wrong time.” I completely disagree with that. Those seem to be contradictory positions. Am I wrong? Will Kerry take action to eliminate threats or not? What will Kerry do about Iran? North Korea? Does he actually believe removing China from the table is a good idea? What happened to coalition building? Kerry may win, no matter how I vote. Why should that prospect not scare me?
