Stephen Silver is a journalist and editor specializing in the areas of film, pop culture, consumer technology, politics, sports and parenthood.
He spent many years as an editor for Napco Media, where he served as founding editor-in-chief and film critic for The TechnologyTell Entertainment section and online editor for Dealerscope, Technology Integrator and Tell magazines, and the TechnologyTell network. After Napco, Stephen served as senior web producer with WTXF, FOX 29 in Philadelphia, and as a social media and marketing executive with Frank Recruitment Group.
His work has also appeared in Philadelphia Magazine, Philly Voice, Tablet Magazine, RogerEbert.com, New York Press, SB Nation, Splice Today, Screenrant, Sports by Brooks, CSNPhilly.com and Philadelphia’s Patch websites. Stephen is a member of the Pen & Pencil Club and the Online Film Critics Society, and the cofounder of the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle.
In January of 2009, he became the first American journalist to interview both a sitting head of the FCC and sitting host of Jeopardy! on the same day.
A native of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and graduate of Brandeis University, Stephen lives in Broomall, Pa., with his wife Rebecca and sons Noah and Jonah.
